The Browning School Goes Bollywood

When my friend called and asked if I'd do make-up at a Charity Event for his children's school, I couldn't say no. While not a big fan of private (privileged) education, I'm more the public school, equal rights type, I was curious.

The Browning School's mission is," the pursuit of academic excellence and a lifelong love of learning, the belief in the dignity of the individual, and the development of personal integrity and responsibility to the broader community.
Besides, it was for a great cause, some of the money goes towards scholarships for under-privileged kids. I was sold. The event was at The Plaza, how bad could it be? The women who organized the evening, working tirelessly behind the scenes for months, were sweet and fun. They deserved a little pampering.

When I arrived, with my L'Oreal Goody Bags in tow, the ladies eyes lit up. What woman doesn't get giddy over makeup? L'Oreal's Infallible 8 HR Le Gloss in Pink Topaz & Red Fatale were spot on color for a Bollywood themed night. Le Gloss goes on smooth, moist, doesn't feather or fade. It was the perfect accessory for dining and dancing with confidence. Le Gloss stayed put, well into the wee hours of the night.

L'Oreal's Infallible 8HR Le Gloss, in Pink Topaz and the decor were a match made in Bollywood heaven.

L'Oreal's Kohl Pencil Smooth Defining Eyeliner in black, created a smooth, smoky eye, on point for an Indian sari and bindi inspired evening.

Each mommy, (all the ladies have children attending the school) received her very own L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara, how very chic. From Power Volume 24 HR to False Fiber Lashes, to Million Lashes Waterproof,  the women were ecstatic with their personalized makeovers. "I must have heard thank you a hundred times."

A huge thanks to Alison Brod PR for supplying the beauty goods, and making working moms feel pretty, and proud.

All in the name of children and higher education.
Who says beauty and brains don't mix?
