Bright & Shiny Early Early in the Morning
I am not a fan of Fashion Week or the backstage madness it entails, so a 6 am call time made me even crankier. Except, when I got there and Stephan Marais did the makeup test for Zac Posen, I felt better. He created a fresh, pretty, sparkling face. Mac Cosmetic's rosy cream blush placed on the low cheek bone, into the temples and over the brow bone was the perfect mix of layering & texture. A white silver shadow dusted thinly into the lower & upper lashes gave the eyes luminosity and an instant wake up call. An added bonus, the gorgeous supermodel Pat Clevland was there supporting her daughter, model Anna van Ravenstein who walked the show. How modern and retro, glamorous, young and fresh.
